Year 5 pupils excitedly welcomed Scott from Edmondson’s Estates, Galgorm into their classroom today. The pupils explored how Scott, as an estate agent uses maths to help people buy and sell houses. He showed the pupils how he calculates a house’s worth by looking at its size, location, and how much similar houses cost. The pupils participated in a practical activity where they used trundle wheels and measuring tapes to measure areas of their classroom, just like Scott would do.
