As part of our “Sound” topic, the children have been learning about the four different families of instruments in an orchestra - brass, woodwind, percussion and string. We have studied a variety of instruments that belong to each family and how sound can be produced using each one. We then created our very own musical instruments from materials we had at home. Don’t they look fabulous???
