The boys and girls in Year 3 were invited to Waterstones to participate in a storytelling session with the author Derek Keilty.
They listened to the first chapter of a story written by Derek about a witch called ‘Ivy Newt’, which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Some children were lucky enough to get the chance to perform some magic tricks as well!
Derek and the team at Waterstones very kindly sent the children home with stickers, bookmarks and sweets - a real treat!
