Dressed in their WW2 attire, Year 4 children enjoyed a very informative visit from ‘Eva Jones’, the WW2 billeting officer for the local area.
Eva explained the evacuation process and thoroughly prepared children for what would happen in the event of an evacuation during World War Two times.
Year 4 really enjoyed the workshop and were able to see many artefacts from the era. They also had the opportunity to ask questions.
What a great way to bring our topic to life!
