Women’s Aid Visit to Year 7
Our Year 7 pupils recently enjoyed a fantastic workshop delivered by Women’s Aid, focused on self‑esteem, growth mindset and building positive relationships. The session was lively, engaging and full of thoughtful discussions that really encouraged pupils to think about themselves in a positive way.
Throughout the workshop, the children reflected on the things they are good at and the qualities others notice and appreciate in them. They also spent time exploring how to stay confident, keep a positive mindset and believe in their own abilities. Another key part of the session looked at the importance of forming strong, respectful relationships with others and understanding what helps friendships and connections grow in healthy ways.
It was wonderful to see pupils celebrating their strengths, recognising the value they bring to their friendships, and learning practical ways to communicate and support one another.
