Farewell to Our Wonderful Year 7 Pupils
Monday marked a special milestone for our Year 7 children as they celebrated their final day at St Colmcille’s. The day began with a beautiful Mass of Thanksgiving, where pupils, staff and families came together to reflect and give thanks for the journey so far.
Afterwards, the children enjoyed a delicious lunch of hotdogs, burgers and donuts, sharing laughter and memories with their friends and teachers. The celebrations continued with the Leavers’ Assembly, a heartfelt event where the pupils looked back on their time from Year 1 to Year 7, recalling special moments, achievements and friendships made along the way.
Each child was then presented with their Record of Achievement, a special folder containing their work, milestones, and certificates that captured their growth and accomplishments throughout their years at St Colmcille’s.
The assembly concluded with a video montage of their school journey, bringing smiles, laughter and a few tears. With cheers and warm wishes, the children made their way out of the school gates for the final time.
They have been a truly fantastic group of children, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. We wish them every success and happiness in the exciting adventures that lie ahead.
