We were delighted to welcome Fr. Michael into school to celebrate Mass for the start of a new year in St. Colmcille’s.
The pupils from the Faith Council prepared gifts for the Opening Liturgy and Offertory while our Year 5s, 6s and 7s led the Readings, prayers and singing.
Fr. Michael remarked on the pupils’ beautiful singing and the attentive way in which they said their prayers.
We look forward to welcoming Fr. Michael, Fr. Joe and Fr. Paddy into our school to lead us in liturgical services throughout the year.
