St.Colmcille’s kick started ‘Book Week’ early with World book day on Thursday 5th March. Children enjoyed taking on the role of their favourite characters and discussing their favourite books in class.
More recently, throughout book week in school, children were enthusiastic at the opportunity to visit the book fair, share their favourite stories with a partner class and create wonderful pieces of art.
It is clear to see from all the fantastic pictures that children thoroughly enjoyed sharing their love of reading and books with each other and took particular interest in the art activities relating to class texts.
Well Done to all who took part in our ‘Book Cover Design’ competition, particularly our winners - what excellent designs everyone!
