Primary 1 received a lovely visit from local Firefighters, to finish our topic ‘People who help us’. We got to look around both inside and outside of the fire engine. They got to handle some of the equipment that they use in emergencies. After this the children got to find out all about the jobs they do, the uniform they wear and they got to try on the very important jacket. They got to ask the Firefighters questions too. We thank them for taking the time out of their very busy day to pay us a visit!
