A huge thank you to Jack’s auntie Liz O’Kane who came to talk to us about bees and what it’s like to be a beekeeper. We loved seeing the beehive that she brought. We learnt lots of interesting facts about the queen bee, worker bees and what happens to bees in winter. We sampled the delicious local honey on pancakes at break time. What a treat!
